Big News from Me & Laura 📚✨

After years of dreaming (and me collecting way too many books), Laura and I are finally opening The Chapter House — an independent bookstore and community space in downtown Albany, Oregon!

We just signed the lease on a small corner spot that feels like it was made for us. Laura will keep working full-time as a hospital chaplain, and between her work and my VA disability, our home is steady — but getting a bookstore off the ground takes a lot of early support (and faith).

So here’s where you come in:
We’re raising $25,000 to bring The Chapter House fully to life — bookshelves, inventory, seating, signage, all of it. If 250 people each gave $100, we’d get there. Every gift, large or small, helps us build something lasting for our community.
